this album has been a long time in the making.. eight years since Tony’s last release a fresh approach of self reliance has resulted in a fresh new sound. 12 tracks adding up to 52 minutes of brand new all original instrumental music written, played and produced by Tony.. this time with the help of Jex Saarelaht’s piano on only one track, the moving “Sound of falling blossom”. All the many other sounds and instruments of an extended band lineup have been crafted together personally with Tony taking advantage of the remarkable opportunities provided by modern recording technology. The results justify the time taken with Tony’s many guitar voices unifying a range of music reflecting diverse rhythmic and melodic influences.. moody, funky and evocative.. and always passionately heartfelt.

The title comes from psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi.. “In positive psychology, a flow state, also known colloquially as being in the zone, is the mental state in which a person performing an activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energised focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process of the activity. In essence, flow is characterised by the complete absorption in what one does, and a resulting transformation in one’s sense of time.”
